((OOC Note: Well, just thought I'd try my hand at an in-character 'column' for the top five of RoR. Tell me what you think!))
#1 - RACHEL COLE
Previous Position: None
The obvious choice for number one as RoR's new - not to mention first - world champion, Rachel Cole has made an utterly incredible impact in RoR - one of the many, but always pleasant to see, female independent wrestlers who are just as comfortable wrestling with the males of the industry as other females. While the gold is always good to have, it also paints a giant bullseye on her forehead - especially for the number two on this list!
#2 - SEAN HUNTER
Previous Position: None
Sean Hunter made an incredible impact in his debut match by pinning the self-proclaimed 'King Of Independent Wrestling' Galen Ronan. Now he has both the chance to claim the gold (and the bullseye) that Rachel Cole currently has. On the downside, Galen Ronan doesn't appear to be too happy with him, and Harvey has put them in a match with eachother this Voltage! Uh-oh.
#3 - LOS POLLOS EXCELLENTES
Previous Position: None
Just have to cheat on this one - include an entire group rather than one particular person. The odd, chicken-like fellows have created quite an impact in Ring of Revolution so far, claiming the first ever RoR Tag gold and coming very close to claiming even more gold than they already did with Super Pollo's match with Rachel Cole. What's the future of LPE? Only time will tell.
#4 - JACK JOHNSON
Previous Position: None
The man who shares a name with a mediocre musician managed to grab the International Championship away from the grubby grasp of Matt Ward, and the first to claim that gold as well, Johnson has similarly made a bit of an impact - yet is in the opening match this week. Someone's booking wrong... but in any case, Johnson could very quickly climb the ranks if he does anything really exciting with the title he currently has.
#5 - LOGAN BLYZE
Previous Position: None
Though the match didn't mean much of anything, Blyze made quite a bit of an impact in an amazing match that was, on it's own, worth the price of admission to the RoR Penitentiary. Where will he go from here? How much of an impact will he be able to make? Is he the future of the gold scene in Ring of Revolution? Only time will tell.
PEOPLE TO LOOK OUT FOR
Sarah Twilight, Mikola, and Natalie Burrows are all up for a shot at the gold in a three-way dance this week. (Seems like Harvey REALLY doesn't like Rachel Cole having the gold!)
Matt Ward may be looking to make a return by beating out Justin Partial, Kris Slade and Robbie Ferrari this week.
Galen Ronan doesn't seem to be too happy with his loss, considering his recent promo on the plans he has for RoR - will they be successful, or is he just another man with bark and no bite?
