Note:This is not my best, but this is just an example in case people want to know how good I'm in rping.
”Finally, a free man” was the words that kept coming to the mind of Prince Adjei. The screen opens to see him walking out of the Mimico Correction Centre with a correction officer. The officer pulls out a small key from his pocket and uncuffs the born Ghanaian convict. Prince rubs his wrists, the visible stretch marks of the handcuffs still is noticeable. Prince looks at the sky, finally fresh air. He then looks back at the correction officer who happens to be a good looking forty year old Caucasian female. How often do you see a hot officer working in this miserable job of hers? Prince smiles, the first time he smiled for like almost three years, and shakes the correction officer’s hand. The officer smiles back before giving Prince his personal belongings that he had kept while being in the jail via a bag. Prince gladly accepts his valuable items and checks inside the bag to make sure none of his stuffs are missing. Prince looks up the sky and sees a glimpse of the sun despite the white clouds doing its best to block it. The officer walks back to the correction centre, leaving the young man all alone.
“Finally, a free man” once again pops into Prince’s mind. Although he only spent two years in prison, it felt like it was eternality. The day that he found he was going to jail because of drug charges and allegedly punching a cop. Hell, he’s surprised that he only got two years sentence instead of more considering how Canada is strict about violence against police. Still he wasted his life in this hellhole called “Correction Centre” and he had to pay the price. He learned his lesson, well hopefully he did and he’s looking to move on. He had an idea to where to restart his life. He needs to go back to wrestling and there is the only man that can helped him do that, Jay Champ, his wrestling trainer.
He sees a yellow cab coming from the opposite side of the road and he signals the cab driver to come to him. The cab then pulls up beside him, Prince smelling the gas pipe of the cab. The cab driver rolls down the window and tiredly opens his mouth to speak.
Cab Driver: Where are you heading?
Prince: To the Champ’s Gym.
The screen fades to black after Prince steps inside of the cab.
…………….
One month later, the screen opens to see Prince Adjei, now wearing a white shirt and blue jeans instead of his prison uniform, sitting alone in his bedroom. He’s holding an opened enveloped and looking down at the rugged leather carpet. He then looks up ands stares at the camera in a blanked expression before opening his mouth to speak.
Prince: In this generation, the thirst for the new beginning keeps popping to our minds like bubbles. In this new generation, the old way of the classical thinking is slowly replaced by the new way of thinking. We are no longer mindless robots accustomed to the old ways of life and the people are demanding changes. We demand changes in the system and dammit we’re going to get it. In this generation, people from different cultures, background, races, gender, lifestyles, etc. are putting their differences aside for one goal…to achieve in life. United we stand, divided we fall is the motto this generation is using because it is no longer just about accolades and social status, it’s about defining who we are.
Change is the words that we humans often use but we don’t put actions to it. We just say it for the sake of SAYING IT when in reality we DON’T MEAN IT. People are blinded by the words of change when they don’t realize that changes are not happening. We hear the same old shit each day while they preach about “changes” that should be happening.
In this generation, we are yelling “enough is enough and it’s time for a change.’. Changes WILL happen and I, along with many other people, will make sure it happens. I’m tired of the elderly thinking that they think what the young generation should act like. I’m tired of the elderly thinking they can control us younger generation and tell us how we should live, eat, speak, wrestle, and etc. These elderly claims that they want to see changes, but yet they keep spewing about things are not the way it used to be. Hypocrite much?
Yes, I’m talking about Priest and his comments about the new generation. I don’t necessary think he’s an old man. He even said it himself that he’s only in his mid-thirties and has a lot to give. I think it’s great that a man of his status continues to pull out great performance in the ring and I respect him for that. However, his promo rubbed me in the wrong way and frankly, I’m tired of guys like him putting the younger generation down because he’s has been wrestling for a long time.
The only person that needs to move forward is YOU Priest. Yeah, I said it and it’s time for us the young generation to prove people like you wrong. When I look into your eyes, all I see is fear. Fear of the past slowly being forgotten and the new generation slowly taking your beloved memories from the grasp of your hands and replacing it with the new beginning. I see the fear of your eyes and your words giving us the impression of that you don’t like that people have moved on and anticipating the future. Don’t get me wrong, I respect everything you have done in this business and to be honest I kinda hope that I achieved somewhat the same success as you. However, I don’t want to be like you. I don’t have to be another robotic clone is constantly reminded about what the past generation has done in the past. No disrespect intended, but I’m tired of the fucking nagging coming from you!
Prince Adjei pulls out the UCW contract from the envelope and shows it to the camera for the world to see.
Prince: You see this Priest? This is a symbol of the new beginning and changes that we the people are looking forward to. As the wrestling world craves for new stars with new personality and styles, you will still be stuck in the same position and your bitterness will continue to grow like your fucking ego. You may deny this, but it’s true. Want to know why I think you have an ego? First of all, you talked about yourself and ONLY yourself. Not once I heard you mention me or my partner James Child. Not once you mention your tag-team partner Ricardo. Not once you mention OUR match. Hey, earth to Priest, you have a match this Monday. If I was you, I would stop day-dreaming or threatening to bring the so-called changes when in reality you want to the federation back to the way it used to be. There is no war going on pal, so keep dreaming. You can bring all your little friends, but they cannot stop destiny from happening. If you don’t like the way things are becoming, DEAL WITH IT.
Prince calms down for a few seconds before continuing.
Prince: Instead of focusing on your glory days and how wrestling used to be, you need to worry about your partner Ricardo. I know that James Child is anxious to compete in the ring and I know that he has my back. I may not like James, but I’m willing to put my hatred aside to fight for the common goal. As for you, well, I’ve a conclusion that you don’t care about your partner Ricardo and I’m guessing that Ricardo doesn’t care about you since he hasn’t made a presence. I don’t want to guarantee a victory since anything can happen, but I will guarantee this: You will respect the new generation...THE RATED R GENERATION!
