Bio: Todd was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He excelled at baseball as a teenager; setting batting records at his high school that still stand to this day. After high school, Todd began attending the University of Northern Colorado to pursue a degree as a history teacher, even though he always wanted to be a professional wrestler.
During college, Todd began training and working shows for a local wrestling company. Finally, during his senior year, he was discovered by Sean Hudson. Hudson was not only a big name for the WWA, but also a talent scout. Hudson immediately offered Todd a contract with WWA and Todd did not disappoint.
Todd made an immediate impact in WWA, winning the WWA International Championship in just his second match and becoming the first person to ever hold the title. He also went on to win the WWA Tag Team Championships on two occasions: once by himself, and once with Orion. Unfortunately, WWA closed its doors in 2005 and Todd was left with no place to wrestle…or was he?
After WWA closed, Sean Hudson tried his hand at running his own promotion by opening the UCW. Of course, Todd was one of the first people that Hudson contacted. Todd’s roll kept going in UCW, as he went on to win the UCW Tag Team Championships by himself. It looked like Todd’s career was about to skyrocket…that was until UCW folded and Todd was again unemployed.
Todd was again saved by his friend/mentor Sean Hudson, who found Todd a new place to perform. The place was Revolution Wrestling and it was here Todd got his first big break. There, Todd was put into a stable with Drake Styles and Todd’s former partner Orion; together they were the Fallen Angels. Todd captured his third set of Tag Team Championships by winning the RW Tag Team Championships with Orion. However, it wasn’t long before Todd was on his own as Styles and Orion both seemed to vanish. This turned out to be a blessing for Todd, as he went on to feud with some of RW’s best heels in Alec Fleming and Paul Atmos. During this stretch Todd won the RW World Championship, and the 2006 RW Face of the Year and Feud of the Year awards.
When RW closed its doors, Todd decided to walk away from wrestling. He put his degree to use, becoming a teacher at a local Austin, Texas high school. However, after two years away from the business he had to get back in. He spent a short time in two small feds before finally being contacted and signed by Ring of Revolution.
What’s next for Todd? Who knows, but you can bet its something big.
